- If the processing of your personal data was/is conducted in an unlawful manner, you have the option to demand the restriction of the processing of your data in lieu of demanding the eradication of this data.

We herewith object to the use of contact information published in conjunction with the mandatory information to be provided in section “Information Required by Law” to send us promotional and information material that we have not expressly requested. 4. Recording of data on this website
Cookies
Our websites and pages use what the industry refers to as “cookies.” Cookies are small text files that do not cause any damage to your device. They are either stored temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or they are permanently archived on your device (permanent cookies). Session cookies are automatically deleted once you terminate your visit. Permanent cookies remain archived on your device until you actively delete them or they are automatically eradicated by your web browser.
In some cases it is possible that third party cookies are stored on your device once you enter our site (third party cookies). These cookies enable you or us to take advantage of certain services offered by the third party (e.g. cookies for the processing of payment services).
Cookies have a variety of functions. Many cookies are technically essential since certain website functions would not work in the absence of the cookies (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos). The purpose of other cookies may be the analysis of user patterns or the display of promotional messages.
Cookies, which are required for the performance of electronic communication transactions (required cookies) or for the provision of certain functions you want to use (functional cookies, e.g. for the shopping cart function) or those that are necessary for the optimization of the website (e.g. cookies that provide measurable insights into the web audience), shall be stored on the basis of Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR, unless a different legal basis is cited. The operator of the website has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies to ensure the technically error free and optimized provision of the operator’s services. If your consent to the storage of the cookies has been requested, the respective cookies are stored exclusively on the basis of the consent obtained (Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. a GDPR); this consent may be revoked at any time.
You have the option to set up your browser in such a manner that you will be notified any time cookies are placed and to permit the acceptance of cookies only in specific cases. You may also exclude the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or in general or activate the delete function for the automatic eradication of cookies when the browser closes. If cookies are deactivated, the functions of this website may be limited.
In the event that third party cookies are used or if cookies are used for analytical purposes, we will separately notify you in conjunction with this Data Protection Policy and, if applicable, ask for your consent.
Server log files
The provider of the website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources.
This data is recorded based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of his website. Server log files must be recorded for this.
Contact forms
If you send us enquiries via the contact form (including the contact form on the homepage, for registering for the webinar and for contacting us with further questions after the webinar), the information you provide in the enquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
For the sending of all mails from this homepage (e.g. the confirmation mail for the receipt of your message and your contact request to us in the form of an e-mail), we use the service of the German company of SendInBlue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin. This saves your e-mail address, a time stamp at the time the message was sent, the subject of the respective message and the content of the message, which contains, among other things, all the data from the contact form that you have entered. For more information on this, please refer to the SendInBlue privacy policy at: https://de.sendinblue.com/legal/privacypolicy/. This does not apply to subsequent e-mails you receive from us, e.g. in response to contact requests, but only to e-mails sent from this homepage.
The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time or send your original request directly by e-mail to info@roos-it.de. An informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient for this purpose. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data you entered in the contact form will remain with us and in the logs of SendInBlue until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after processing your enquiry has been completed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
Application to Webinar
If you send us inquiries using the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us to process the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
We reserve the right to check each registration for our webinars individually and to reject them if necessary. If your registration is rejected and you do not receive any further message, we will no longer save your stored data.
Once the verification is complete, your provided email address will be forwarded to Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA so that we can register you for the webinar. Once registration is complete, you will receive a registration confirmation to dial into the webinar. For more information on how Cisco Systems GmbH processes your data, please refer to this statement under point 9, Microsoft Teams or visit https://privacy.microsoft.com/de-de/privacystatement.
For the option “I would like to receive notifications about products, services and events from ROOS IT.” Sign up for our newsletter. Further information can be found in Section 6 (Newsletter).
Request by email, phone or fax
If you contact us by email, phone or fax, your request, including all personal data resulting from it (name, request), will be stored and processed by us to process your request. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
This data is processed based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR, if your request is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 a) GDPR) and/or on our legitimate interests (Art. 6 Para. 1 letter f GDPR), since we have a legitimate interest in effective processing of inquiries addressed to us.
All data you send to us via contact requests will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – especially statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

The full IP address is only transferred to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there in exceptional cases. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services related to website activity and internet usage. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with the legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Scope and purpose of data collection
If you send us an application, we will process your associated personal data (e.g. contact and communication data, application documents, notes in the context of job interviews, etc.), as far as this is necessary to decide on the establishment of an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is § 26 BDSG-new under German law (initiation of an employment relationship), Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (general contract initiation) and – if you have given your consent – Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR. The consent can be revoked at any time. Your data will only be passed on within our company to people who are involved in processing your application.
If your job application should result in your recruitment, the data you have submitted will be archived on the grounds of § 26 New GDPR and Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. b GDPR for the purpose of implementing the employment relationship in our data processing system.
Retention period of your data
If we cannot make you a job offer, you reject a job offer, withdraw your application, revoke your consent to data processing or ask us to delete your data, all data you have transmitted to us, including any remaining physical application documents, will be used for a maximum of 6 months after completion of the application process saved or retained (retention period) to be able to understand the details of the application process in the event of discrepancies (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit.f GDPR).
YOU CAN COUNTER THIS STORAGE IF YOU HAVE LEGAL INTERESTS THAT OVERRIDE OUR INTERESTS.
After the retention period has expired, your data will be deleted unless there is a statutory retention requirement or another legal reason for further storage. If it is evident that the storage of your data will be necessary after the retention period has expired (e.g. due to an impending or pending legal dispute), the data will only be deleted when the data has become irrelevant. Other statutory retention requirements remain unaffected.
