In summary, this means for our customers that after 2020, SAP Netweaver Portal up to and including version 7.4 will no longer be subject to maintenance. Only SAP Netweaver Portal 7.5 will remain under maintenance until the end of 2024. However, further developments on this basis will be the exception.
This means that many of our customers are faced with the challenge of how they should continue to deal with their self-service scenarios. SAP offers a variety of options, for example an SAP Cloud Portal with Fiori Apps, an on-premise Fiori Launchpad or a direct switch to SAP SuccessFactors.
